Planned Energy Director scope
Energy Director is intended to provide independent utility-rate, billing, interval-usage, daily-demand, solar-export, battery-cost, and EV-charging cost analysis based on customer-provided data.
Potential outputs include modeled comparisons of supported NV Energy residential rate plans, identification of high-demand intervals in the supplied data, analysis of overlap between EV charging and other large electrical loads, and selected charging-time, charging-current, solar-export, and battery-operating cost scenarios.
Services not provided
Energy Director does not:
- Inspect or test homes, buildings, electrical systems, solar systems, batteries, charging equipment, HVAC equipment, or appliances
- Evaluate energy efficiency, building performance, equipment efficiency, equipment condition, electrical capacity, safety, or code compliance
- Recommend insulation, air sealing, windows, duct work, HVAC work, appliance replacement, repairs, renovations, construction, or electrical modifications
- Design, size, specify, install, repair, or certify electrical, charging, solar, battery, HVAC, or building equipment
- Provide engineering, electrical-design, contracting, inspection, appraisal, or other licensed professional services
- Log into, control, or change a customer’s utility account through the analysis service
- Determine utility-program or rate-plan eligibility
- Guarantee bill savings, demand reductions, equipment performance, or future utility rates
Modeled results
Results would be estimates produced from available customer data, published rate information, stated assumptions, and defined scenario rules. Actual bills and future costs may differ. NV Energy determines customer eligibility, account treatment, and final billing.
Public waitlist limitation
Joining the public waitlist does not create a customer relationship, service agreement, reservation, or entitlement to receive a report.
